Exactly who am I you ask?

One thing I noticed when looking at other blogs was the way they’d give you some information about them. Some gave a list, some a story, some just spoke about their adult life, and others really didn’t give you anything besides their online image… And then I got to thinking the way we introduce ourselves in graduate classes on that first night of the semester- you know- state your name, your undergrad degree and 1 thing we’d be surprised to know or whatnot… So this is what I’m going to do- share a bit of those that I remember from semesters back while working on my graduate degree. Here goes nothing!

~My undergraduate degree is from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Photographic Communications. It is a mouthful! Essentially, I can take any scientific, medical, surgery, autopsy, crime scene photographs as well as the typical, portraits, parties, gatherings, landscapes, still life imagery… anything you want, I can do it!

~I had to complete a co-op for that degree which I received by participating in a program with Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department in Miami, Florida. It was entitled “Biomedical and Forensic Imaging Preceptorship Program.” I have a cool plaque and a lot of great memories!

~Yes, yes, I took crime scene, evidence and autopsy photographs. And yes, I loved it!

~I am mom to Gabrianna who is 18 years old, Sarah Myria who is 14 years old, and to Rook who is 13 years old. Gabrianna has my artistic eye, and her father’s writing ability. Sarah loves to create things for her dolls, and collect stickers. And, Rook has my artistic ability and his father’s ability to handle money.

~I am a redhead who tans. Not many redheads can say that!

~I am vegetarian. I love veggies more so than fruit, but I do adore white peaches and raspberries.

~I went Kindergarten through 12th grade in the same school district, having not moved once, not even to a different bedroom in the house! Zoom ahead almost twenty years, and though some of the trees have since come down, the house is there, and so are my parents! That house on Elm Street will always be home no matter where I am on Earth.

~I love, love, LOVE coffee. My favorite Starbucks is a: triple venti, 6 pump peppermint white mocha with whip on top…. and yes, they know my drink when I walk in the door 🙂

Anyway… I guess that gives you a bit to work with right? I may update/change this at any point. But for now, I think it works!
